TFIC supports the following three flagship projects that provide extremely high leverage in development of the “clean tech” innovation pipeline.”
Texas SBIR/STTR/ARPA-E Workshops and Summit - TFIC is developing a statewide platform to match national “best practices” in the competition for new, high-impact research missions. The short-term application will multiply Texas current performance in the SBIR/STTR and ARPA-e funding competitions. Read more.
Texas Association of Research Parks and Incubators – Unlike a cluster organization, a more general, cross-cutting initiative is necessary to efficiently enable the Innovation Ecosystem. While individual research parks and incubators are often best served by catering to one specific industry, the approach, financing and management structures are often similar, regardless of industry. Texas Clean Energy Council - The Texas Clean Energy Council is intended to actively manage the development of Texas clean tech clusters for Texas by assisting communities and stakeholders directly, and by scaling individual Texas resources to serve all of Texas, leveraging a natural statewide economy of scale.
